Nets sign Zeng Fanbo to complete roster
BROOKLYN (Sept. 22, 2025) – The Brooklyn Nets finalized their 21-player training camp roster today by signing forward Zeng Fanbo. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released. Training camp begins in Brooklyn at HSS Training Center on Wednesday, Sept. 24, through Friday, Oct. 3. The Nets then tip off the preseason against Hapoel ‘Bank Yahav’ Jerusalem at Barclays Center on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Zeng (6’10”, 225) has played the last three seasons (2022-25) with Beijing Shougang in the Chinese Basketball Association. In 42 games (22 starts) during the 2024-25 season, he recorded averages of 14.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 blocks in 27.8 minutes per game while shooting 53.0 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from 3-point range. The Harbin, China, native began his professional career playing one season (2021-22) in the NBA G League with G League Ignite. In nine Tip-Off Tournament games (three starts) for Ignite, Zeng averaged 3.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 13.2 minutes per contest.
