BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Brooklyn Nets have signed forward Jalen Wilson to a multi-year contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Wilson (6’6”, 230) originally signed a two-way contract with Brooklyn on July 5, 2023, after being selected by the Nets with the 51st overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft. In 21 appearances (one start) this season with Brooklyn, the 23-year-old has recorded averages of 5.0 points on 46.8 percent shooting from the floor, 43.3 percent shooting from 3-point range and 90.5 percent shooting from the free-throw line, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 14.0 minutes per game. Wilson has also played in and started 11 regular season games for Brooklyn’s NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, averaging 19.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists across 35.0 minutes per contest. In 11 Showcase Cup appearances (all starts) with Long Island, he notched averages of 19.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists over 31.1 minutes per game.

The Denton, Texas, native spent four years (2019-23) at the University of Kansas, where he averaged 14.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 30.7 minutes per contest across 104 career games (89 starts). He received consensus All-America First Team and unanimous Big 12 Player of the Year accolades following his redshirt junior season and helped lead the Jayhawks to a national championship during his redshirt sophomore campaign while securing All-Big 12 Third Team honors.
