
The New York Yankees have announced that Yankees-Blue Jays game (Saturday, April 26) will not be played due to the forecast of sustained inclement weather.
The game will be made up as the second game of a single-admission doubleheader on Sunday, April 27. The first game will begin as originally scheduled at 1:35 p.m. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends.
Tickets for Saturday's game will not be valid for the Sunday, April 27, single-admission doubleheader. Fans with paid tickets for today’s game (Saturday, April 26) may exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium (subject to availability) as described in the Yankees’ rain check policy, which may be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck. Tickets can be exchanged online only and cannot be exchanged in-person at the Yankee Stadium Ticket Office.
Complimentary (COMP) tickets and tickets obtained via the Commissioner’s Initiative for Kids for today’s game (Saturday, April 26) are not valid for any future games. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bear no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value.
On Sunday, all Yankee Stadium Gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 12:00 p.m., at which time distribution will begin for the April 27 scheduled promotional item (Hersheypark Kids Ticket Giveaway Day presented by Hersheypark to the 1st 10,000 Guests 14-and-younger in attendance).
Both games of Sunday’s doubleheader vs. the Blue Jays will be broadcast by the YES Network.
