Tonight's Yankees-Rangers game (Friday, Aug. 9) rescheduled due to the forecast of sustained inclement weather

Will be made up tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 10, as the second game of a single-admission doubleheader, which will begin with the originally scheduled first game at 1:05 p.m.

The New York Yankees have announced that tonight’s Yankees-Rangers game (Friday, Aug. 9) will not be played due to the forecast of sustained inclement weather.

The game will be made up as the second game of a single-admission doubleheader tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 10. The first game will begin as originally scheduled at 1:05 p.m. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends.

Fans with paid tickets for tonight’s game (Friday, Aug. 9) may exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium (subject to availability) as described in the Yankees’ rain check policy, which may be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck. Tickets can be exchanged online only and cannot be exchanged in-person at the Yankee Stadium Ticket Office.

Complimentary (COMP) tickets and tickets obtained via the Commissioner’s Initiative for Kids for tonight’s game (Friday, Aug. 9) are not valid for any future games. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bear no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value.

On Saturday, all Yankee Stadium Gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 11:30 a.m., at which time distribution will begin for the Aug. 10 scheduled promotional item (Yankees Camo Cap presented by Budweiser to the 1st 18,000 Guests 21-and-older in attendance).

Both games of Saturday’s doubleheader vs. the Rangers will be broadcast by the YES Network.
