Lakers (2018-19), recording averages of 9.0 points on 51.8 percent shooting from the field, 32.3 percent shooting from 3-point range and 80.8 percent from the free-throw line, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 16.2 minutes per game. The 29-year-old played in 36 games last season with the Magic, posting averages of 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game. The German native has seen action in nine career playoff games, registering averages of 5.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 13.1 minutes per game. Wagner captured a gold medal at the 2023 FIBA World Cup in Manila, Philippines, helping Germany secure its first-ever World Cup title.

Wagner was selected with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft by the Lakers after spending three years (2015-18) at the University of Michigan, where he was named the Big Ten Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and led the Wolverines to the NCAA National Championship game as a junior.
