Friday marks the second coming of the Subway Series this season as the New York Yankees and New York Mets get set for another weekend of baseball in the Big Apple.
The fan-favorite inter-league series has captured the imaginations of local baseball fans while generating plenty of trash talk between supporters from across Queens and the Bronx over the years.
A select group of players spanning the decades has spent time with both the Yankees and Mets organizations, including two Hall of Famers – Yankees legend Yogi Berra and the “Man of Steal” Rickey Henderson.
