Shackil has worked for the New York Yankees since 2015, hosting the club’s in-stadium pre-game shows and working with its in-house video production team. On radio, Shackil served as postgame host and play-by-play announcer for the Yankees Radio Network (WFAN) from 2022-2024.

He also handles boxing blow-by-blow and hosting duties for Matchroom Boxing on DAZN and for DiBella Entertainment. Previously, Shackil co-hosted Jomboy Media’s Toeing the Slab with David Cone podcast alongside David Cone and James Smyth.

Prior to joining YES, Shackil worked as a broadcaster for NBA Entertainment, Westwood One Sports, Sirius XM Sports and the AA baseball teams Mobile BayBears, Tennessee Smokies and Trenton Thunder.

Shackil graduated from Fordham University in 2009.
