The New York Yankees will reportedly promote No. 3 prospect Everson Pereira from Triple-A to the big-league roster on Tuesday, according to Jack Curry.

Pereira, 22, has been stellar this season over 81 games between Double-A and Triple-A, sporting a slash line of .300/.373/.921 with 18 home runs, 64 RBI, 53 runs and 11 stolen bases.

The righty-hitting Venezuelan outfielder signed with the organization for $1.5 million in 2017, and was hailed as "one of the best all-around talents in the 2017 international class," per MLB Pipeline.

"Pereira projected as a potential plus hitter with average power, but that profile has reversed as he has gained significant muscle and begun hunting home runs," Pereira's scouting report reads. "He has added loft to a quick right-handed swing and hits the ball harder than most Yankees farmhands."

Joining Pereira will be returning infielder Oswald Peraza, who has 37 games under his belt at the MLB level over the last two seasons. Pereira and Peraza are expected to get "a lot of playing time" upon their arrival to the Bronx according to Curry, with the Yankees beginning a three-game set against the visiting Nationals on Tuesday.

In addition to Pereira's impending promotion, No. 2 prospect and reigning Eastern League Player of the Week Jasson Dominguez is also expected to continue his climb up through the organizational ranks by joining the Triple-A roster, according to Brendan Kuty of The Athletic.

As the Bombers aim to reverse an eight-game losing streak, the young duo of Pereira and Peraza will look to make an impact on both sides of the ball with 38 games remaining in the regular season. The Bombers' skid has put them 9.0 games out of a Wild Card berth entering this week.
