New York Yankees-Los Angeles Angels game on Aug. 6 postponed due to the forecast of inclement weather

Only tickets dated Wednesday, August 7 will be valid for the doubleheader.

The New York Yankees have announced that tonight’s Yankees-Angels game (Tuesday, Aug. 6) will not be played due to the forecast of sustained inclement weather.

The game will be made up tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 7 as the first game of a single-admission doubleheader, which will begin at 4:05 p.m. The second game will start no earlier than 7:05 p.m. If the first game ends later than 6:35 p.m., Game 2 would start approximately 30 minutes after the end of Game 1.

Tickets for tonight’s game (Tuesday, Aug. 6) will not be valid for the Wednesday, Aug. 7, single-admission doubleheader.

On Wednesday, all Yankee Stadium Gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 3 p.m., at which time distribution will begin for the Aug. 7 scheduled promotional item (Yankees Bucket Hat presented by Benjamin Moore to the 1st 18,000 Guests in attendance).

Fans with paid tickets for tonight’s game (Tuesday, Aug. 6) may exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium (subject to availability) as described in the Yankees’ rain check policy, which may be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck.

Game 1 of Wednesday’s doubleheader will be broadcast by the YES Network and Game 2 will be broadcast by Amazon Prime Video.

Complimentary (COMP) tickets and tickets obtained via the Commissioner’s Initiative for Kids for tonight’s game (Tuesday, Aug. 6) are not valid for any future games. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bear no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value.
