BROOKLYN (July 3, 2025) – The Brooklyn Nets have re-signed guard Tyson Etienne to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Etienne originally joined the Nets on a two-way deal on March 4, 2025. The 25-year-old appeared in seven games as a reserve last season with Brooklyn and averaged 7.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 21.6 minutes per contest. Etienne also played in and started 48 Tip-Off Tournament and regular season games for Brooklyn’s NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, averaging 17.1 points on 46.4 percent shooting from the field, 41.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc and 79.4 percent shooting from the free-throw line, 3.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 34.5 minutes per game. He finished tied for second in the NBA G League with 108 made 3-pointers in the regular season and had the ninth-best 3-point percentage (45.8) among qualifying players. Etienne spent the previous two seasons (2022-24) with the College Park Skyhawks, Atlanta’s NBA G League affiliate, appearing in 84 total contests. Prior to his professional career, he played three collegiate seasons (2019-22) at Wichita State University, where he was a two-time All-Conference selection and the 2021 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year. The Englewood, N.J., native departed as the fourth player in program history to make 200 or more triples and set the Shockers’ program record for 3-pointers made per game (2.5).
